A crown is a protective cap that covers a weakened or broken tooth.
Our Technique:
Decay can occur if moisture or small gaps are left behind. To prevent this, Dr. Nguyen maintains a carefully controlled, dry environment during the cementing process so each crown bonds securely and lasts for many years.
We also use a special air-sandblasting technique, which uses a fine stream of abrasive particles propelled by air to gently clean and prepare the tooth surface. This allows for stronger bonding and smoother polishing without relying solely on a drill.
While some dental offices may not incorporate this extra step, our use of sandblasting ensures a durable bond between the restoration and natural tooth structure. Doing so, recurrent decay is prevented and keeps your smile healthy for the long term.
