What we do to keep this site usable for everyone, where we know it falls short, and how to reach a person if something here blocks you.

The standard we aim for

We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the guidelines federal agencies and courts point to.

We are not there yet on this site, and we are not going to display a badge we have not earned. This page tells you what is in place, what is not, and how to reach us. We are rebuilding this website, and accessibility is part of that work.

Display settings on this site

The button in the bottom left corner of every page sets larger text, higher contrast, underlined links, and reduced motion. Your choice is saved in this browser and still applies next time you visit.

These are our own settings, not an add-on tool that rewrites the page. If you already use a screen reader, a magnifier, or your browser’s own zoom, this site is built to work with them and you do not need to change anything here.

What is in place

  • You can enlarge the text from the button above, and you can pinch to zoom on a phone.
  • A skip link is the first thing you reach with the Tab key, and it jumps past the header to the main content.
  • The moving banner stops when you turn on reduced motion, or when your device already asks for it.
  • Every button and link in the header and the banner has a name a screen reader can read out.

What is not right yet

These are real problems on this site. We know about them and we are fixing them.

  • Some text does not have enough contrast against its background. Turning on “Higher contrast” from the button above helps in the meantime.
  • Headings on some pages are not in a logical order, which makes the page harder to navigate by heading.
  • This site is in English only. Our offer pages are available in Vietnamese at offer.starbrightdental.com/vi.

If something here blocks you

Call or email us. Tell us what happened and which page you were on, and we will fix it. We treat these reports the same as any other bug.

You never have to use this website to become a patient. Call the office and we will book your visit over the phone.
